Dick Sylvester CLU,ChFC, president of Sylvester Financial, specializes in retirement income planning as well as Medicare planning for those already retired or near retirement.
Dick is a graduate of Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts where he majored in economics. In 1972 he joined the Equitable Life Assurance Society as an agent and two years later was promoted to a district manager. His newly formed district quickly established itself as a leader. It was consistently in the top 5% in production and persistency on a national basis. He was awarded the coveted National Citation Award seven consecutive years. He was appointed agency manager in 1981 in Wellesley, Massachusetts and held that position until 1985 when he started Sylvester Financial.
In order to offer the highest level of service, Dick is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU),and a Chartered Financial Consultant (CHfC). These two designations require the successful completion of several high level elective courses which contain advanced concepts in the accumulation and preservation of capital. All aspects of financial planning are thoroughly covered.
Dick has lived in Duxbury, Massachusetts since 1982.
